Mercado Livre FULL: how it works, what it costs, and the requirements in 2026
With Full, Mercado Livre stores your stock, packs and ships orders, and handles after-sales support, and your listing gets same-day or next-day delivery. In return, on top of the commission and shipping cost you already pay on every sale, there are three new costs: daily storage (from R$ 0,007 to R$ 0,107 per unit, depending on size), a charge for old stock starting in the fourth month (up to R$ 145 per unit per month after a year), and shipping your stock to the distribution center. For products that sell quickly, Full is almost always worth it. For products that sit, it becomes a growing monthly charge.
Many sellers choose Full for the badge and the promise of more sales. Both are real. But the decision that makes you money is different: which products to send and how many units. I’ll walk you through the rules and official tables, verified in October 2026, and show when Full stops paying off.
#How Mercado Livre Full works
There are four steps:
- You choose the listings and quantities in Full stock management and prepare the shipment using the labels generated by Mercado Livre.
- Your stock goes to a distribution center, either through pickup by Mercado Livre (available in parts of 11 states) or on your own, using your vehicle or a carrier.
- Once your stock arrives at the distribution center, Mercado Livre packs and ships each order the same day or the next day, including Saturdays and holidays.
- After delivery, the Full team contacts the buyer and handles complaints and returns.
You still own your stock and set your prices. What changes is who handles the logistics.
#What are the requirements to join Full?
According to the official rules, you need to:
- Have a reputation, which only appears after your first 10 completed sales.
- Sell new, manufactured products that are eligible for Full in your category.
- Meet the size requirements: up to 25 kg, no side longer than 120 cm, and a total of up to 260 cm across all three sides. Products that don’t meet these requirements but arrive at the distribution center must be picked up within 30 days. Otherwise, they’ll be discarded, and you’ll be charged for disposal.
- For products with an expiration date, send units with more than 90 days remaining before they expire.
If Full doesn’t appear in your dashboard, there’s an interest form you can fill out. Activation depends on space at the distribution center.
#What Full costs: the four charges
1. Commission and shipping cost, as with any sale
Full doesn’t replace the selling fee; it’s added on top. The category commission stays the same, and the shipping cost is the same as in the official table by weight and price range, which applies to Full, Pickup, and Drop-off locations. I explained the table in Mercado Livre fees in 2026.
2. Daily storage, per unit
Charged from the time a unit arrives at the distribution center until it’s sold or picked up:
| Size | Maximum dimensions | Per unit per day | Per unit for 30 days |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 12 × 15 × 25 cm | R$ 0,007 | R$ 0,21 |
| Medium | 28 × 36 × 51 cm | R$ 0,015 | R$ 0,45 |
| Large | 60 × 60 × 70 cm | R$ 0,050 | R$ 1,50 |
| Extra large | above that or over 18 kg | R$ 0,107 | R$ 3,21 |
Rates for most categories, checked in October 2026 (Supermarket has its own rate table, with free storage for small and medium items). For products that sell within a few weeks, daily storage costs are almost negligible.
3. Aged stock, starting in the fourth month
This is where costs can catch you by surprise. Units stored for more than 4 months incur a monthly fee per unit that increases over time:
| Size | Up to 4 months | 4 to 6 months | 6 to 12 months | More than 12 months |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | no charge | R$ 1,00 | R$ 12.00 | R$ 28,00 |
| Medium | no charge | R$ 2,00 | R$ 15,90 | R$ 35,00 |
| Large | no charge | R$ 6,00 | R$ 40,00 | R$ 92,00 |
| Extra large | no charge | R$ 8,00 | R$ 52,00 | R$ 145,00 |
Monthly rates per unit, charged when the invoice is settled. In Supermarket, charges start in the second month.
4. Shipping, removing, or disposing of stock
Pickup to the distribution center is priced based on volume and distance. Mercado Livre shows an estimate when you prepare the shipment and charges the final amount on your invoice after measuring what arrived. You can also deliver it yourself.
Removal is expensive for small volumes: up to 0.01 m³ costs R$ 98. For 1 to 2 m³, it ranges from R$ 1.300 to R$ 2.600. Disposal is cheap (from R$ 1 to a few dozen reais), but you lose the merchandise.
#When Full stops being worth it
What matters is how long each unit stays at the distribution center. Take an average-sized product that sells for R$ 60 and earns R$ 9 in profit per sale (15% margin).
| Time to sell | Daily storage | Accumulated aged-stock fees | Total cost per unit in Full | Profit left from the sale |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | R$ 0,45 | R$ 0 | R$ 0,45 | R$ 8,55 |
| 4 months | R$ 1,80 | R$ 0 | R$ 1,80 | R$ 7,20 |
| 6 months | R$ 2,70 | R$ 4,00 | R$ 6,70 | R$ 2,30 |
| 7 months | R$ 3,15 | R$ 19,90 | R$ 23,05 | − R$ 14,05 |
By the fourth month, storage costs are still low. By the sixth, each unit has already eaten up three-quarters of its profit. By the seventh, it costs more than two full sales. That’s why my rule of thumb is: send to Full what you can sell within 60 days. If a unit has been sitting for more than 90 days, decide what to do with it before the fourth month: adjust the price, run a promotion, update the listing, or remove it.
In practice. A kitchenware seller sent 300 medium-sized pots to Full, expecting Black Friday sales. They sold 180 in two months, and the other 120 were left sitting. By the eighth month, each one was costing R$ 15,90 a month in long-term storage fees—about R$ 1.900 a month for the unsold batch. A 25% promotion in the fifth month would have cost less than two months of those fees.
The other side of the equation—the faster turnover and higher conversion—is covered in Full: the turnover calculation that determines whether it’s worth it.
#Full benefits that factor into the equation
Full offers benefits that don’t show up on your bill but do show up in sales:
- Same-day or next-day delivery, with the Full badge and the Full filter in search.
- Free shipping on orders over R$ 19 when buyers add Full products to their cart (except Supermarket and International Purchases).
- More visibility in search and during events like Black Friday.
- Less operational work: you don’t have to pack or ship each order.
Mercado Livre says that sellers using Full sell "up to 2 times more." That’s a marketing claim, not a promise. Measure your conversion for each listing before and after.
#How to decide what to send to Full
- Choose based on turnover, not wishful thinking. Start with products that sell every day and have a healthy margin.
- Send 30 to 60 days’ worth of stock, not six months’ worth. Restocking costs less than long-term storage.
- Check stock age in the Full dashboard every month and take action before the fourth month.
- Check your margin after enrolling. Commission, shipping, and Ads still apply. If your margin was already tight outside Full, it won’t improve inside.
For that last step, Milewa shows the margin on every Mercado Livre order, including the commission and shipping cost actually charged by the marketplace, your costs, and your tax. You can see, product by product, what’s paying for your operation and what’s taking up space in the distribution center without covering its own storage costs.
#Frequently asked questions
How does Mercado Livre Full work?
You send your stock to a Mercado Livre distribution center, where it’s stored, packed, shipped, and supported after the sale. Your listings get the Full badge, same-day or next-day delivery, and more visibility in search. You still pay the commission and shipping cost for each sale, plus daily storage fees per unit and, after 4 months without a sale, a long-term storage fee.
How much does Mercado Livre Full cost?
In addition to the commission and shipping cost in the standard fee table, storage is charged per unit per day: R$ 0,007 for small items, R$ 0,015 for medium items, R$ 0,050 for large items, and R$ 0,107 for extra-large items. Units that have been sitting for more than 4 months incur a monthly long-term storage fee: R$ 1 to R$ 8 between the fourth and sixth months, and R$ 12 to R$ 52 per month between the sixth and twelfth months. You’ll also pay to send stock to the distribution center and, if needed, to have it removed or disposed of.
What are the requirements for joining Full?
You must have a reputation on Mercado Livre (which you can only earn after your first 10 sales), sell new, manufactured products eligible for Full, weigh no more than 25 kg, have no side longer than 120 cm, and have a total of no more than 260 cm across all sides. Products with an expiration date must have more than 90 days remaining. Activation depends on space at the distribution center.
Is Mercado Livre Full worth it?
It’s worth it for products that sell quickly and have enough margin to cover the cost of sending stock to the distribution center. It can increase conversion and saves you the work of packing and shipping. It becomes a loss when products sit unsold: after 6 months, the long-term storage fee for a medium-sized item exceeds R$ 15 per unit per month—more than many sales generate in profit.
